'Walking Wisteria'

I was eager to put life, flow and movement into my paintings, and also to suggest a story.

You can see photos of the wisteria that inspired this painting in The Charm of Wisteria. The first set of photos in the blog post show a purple wisteria in a park in Geneva, Switzerland; the second set show a white wisteria in Annecy, France. It's the white wisteria in Annecy that looks like it could walk off at any moment. Maybe it goes on jaunts at night when no one is looking!
